10 Walking Dead Character Deaths That Made Us Secretly Happy

Like most successful television shows, The Walking Dead has positives and negatives. One of the major negatives is the length of time that it takes for plot lines and stories to get resolved. The show loves to drag out a storyline more than anything which often ends up with audiences becoming bored and characters becoming stale.

A good example of this comes in the shape of the neverending search for Sophia. The plotline lasted for a whopping seven episodes in total which is actually almost half an entire season if you think about it.

In the beginning, the storyline worked, we all cared about Carol and her darling daughter and we hoped that she would return safe and sound. However, as time went on we lost interest and were almost begging for her to be found dead or alive so long as we could get on with the rest of the season.

It got so tedious that the supposed big reveal (she was in the barn the whole time) fell flat and we were almost shouting at the television for Rick to finish the poor girl off and put her, Carol and the rest of the world out of their misery.
