10 Walking Dead Moments That Made You Scared To Be Human

8. "We'll Just Take This Place"

Another Alexandria moment here. Not surprising as season 6 was a heavenly reprieve from season 5€™s lengthy and incredibly harrowing walkabout and we simply did not trust it. The group and the audience synced up perfectly towards the end of season 5 and after this the show was even more involving. After Rick gets cleaned up and spends a day waving to old folks and making nice with neighbours as a sheriff again, he meets with his group. We all expected the standard Rick Grimes people are good speech, but when Daryl and Carol said the things we wanted to, he simply agreed. Agreed and threatened to take the town. This one was received with mixed feelings. While there was fist pumping and expectation of things to come there was also a familiar feeling. A familiar vibe coming from Rick. A Governor vibe. Seeing an incredibly dangerous man in charge of a peaceful town drew comparisons to what could perhaps come to pass. This scared us because we didn€™t want the Governor to be right all along.
