10 Ways Breaking Bad Could Continue

5. Lydia, Oh Lydia

As a new character entering the mix of Breaking Bad's final season, Laura Fraser's Lydia Rodarte-Quayle had a lot to do in a very small amount of time. She very quickly fell into the schemes of Walter White, becoming the distributor for methylamine and helping the gang to rob a train in broad daylight. She was able to cast an ominous shadow over the season, with her actions inadvertently leading to the deaths of Drew Sharp and Mike Ehrmantraut, and eventually got her comeuppance via Ricin poisoning from Walter. Her pre-Breaking Bad life is pretty interesting, as she had worked closely with Gustavo Fring to make his meth available overseas, using her job at Madrigal Electromotive. It could open up the larger drug world that existed before Walter White cooked his first batch, allowing us to see how well Lydia handled herself in the presence of someone like Gus. It's tantalising stuff to think of two actors as talented as Fraser and Giancarlo Espositio working together, as they each brought a sense of class to every scene they were involved in.
