10 Ways Breaking Bad Was Almost Completely Different

2. Gilligan Wanted Walt To Kill Jane

There were many occasions in Walter White€™s fledgling criminal career when he had the chance to step back before things went too far, but the moment that truly marked the point of no return was the death of Jane. As you€™ll recall €“ quite vividly, we€™re sure €“ after a chance meeting with Jane€™s father, Walt went to see Jesse in the hope of making amends and helping his protégé/lackey to kick his drug habit, but it€™s fair to say things didn€™t go according to plan. Walt€™s attempts to shake Jesse out of his drug stupor caused Jane to roll over onto her back, where she soon started to choke on her own vomit. And Walt let it happen. For some viewers, this was the moment that saw them hop off the Heisenberg bandwagon and cease to root for the show€™s protagonist, and a lot more would surely have switched sides if Vince Gilligan hadn€™t been overruled by his own writers. Breaking Bad€™s creator pitched Walt giving her either a hot dose or second dose, and had he not been overruled the show would have taken on a different complexion, making it almost impossible to condone Walt€™s already-dubious actions.

I watch movies and I watch sport. I also watch movies about sport, and if there were a sport about movies I'd watch that too. The internet was the closest thing I could find.
