10 Ways Game Of Thrones Might Actually End

10. Daenerys Will Rescue Westeros With Her Dragons

Summary: Winter comes. The Others decimate Westeros from North to South, with Jon Snow and Stannis Baratheon's forces losing the fight. Fortunately, Daenerys swoops in at the last minute with her dragons, defeats the Others with fire, and sits the Iron Throne. Reasoning: Probably the most common prediction from show watchers, as this is what the whole series seems to be gearing up towards. Fire has already been shown to be able to subdue the wights, and obsidian (also known as Dragonglass) is just about the only thing that seems able to kill the Others themselves. Jon Snow and Stannis Baratheon are the only people in seats of power that seem to be taking the Others threat seriously, but their numbers just don't match up to the tenacity and numbers of the White Walkers. A perfect way to resolve this would be to have Daenerys fly to Westeros and save the realm with her fire-breathing dragons. Likelihood: None at all. If this were just about any other fantasy series, then maybe. George R. R. Martin has already revealed his distaste for things 'going to plan' though, and this ending would be far too clichéd and neat for the story he's telling.
