10 Ways Sons Of Anarchy Must Continue

2. The Real First Nine

John€™s idealistic view of the MC he created appears to have been shared by Piney back in the day, but do the other First Nine share his concerns, or were they always out to make a fast, bloody buck? Six of the First Nine were war veterans, so that tells us something. However, given that we€™ve only got anecdotal evidence of what the first days of the club were like, it€™ll be interesting to see what the founding eight men were like before crime, violence and mayhem turned them into walking scars: back when the Sons Of Anarchy was a lifestyle choice and a mission statement, rather than a secretive organisation running afoul of the federal government. Added to that, Piney and John founded the club in 1967, and Clay was the last of the First Nine to join in 1968 as a nineteen year old prospect €“ he too served in €˜Nam, and was formally patched in on his return in 1972. So what was the young Clay Morrow like? He and John were clearly close, as they opened the Teller-Morrow bodyshop together€ will we get to see that relationship change? How far will the prequel take us €“ from the birth of the club to John€™s death, or will it stop at Jackson€™s birth in 1978?
