On Veronica Mars: Veronica Mars was an intelligent young high schooler who always found time in her busy schedule of snarking, cynicism, and solving mysteries to do her homework and ace her exams. Maintaining her grades even through a breakup with her first love, the murder of her best friend, a sexual assault, ostracism from her friends, and a conspiracy to keep a deadly secret from ever reaching the light of day, Veronica was accepted into Stanford University and only missed out on becoming valedictorian of her class because of a pesky murder trial. On iZombie: Olivia Moore was an intelligent young woman whose dedication to her studies launched her into a promising career in medicine. Despite the slight setback of being turned into a zombie and unable to risk treating live patients, she turned her considerable brainpower toward solving crimes by making the move to the morgue and using the deaths of the murdered innocents to bring justice to the living culprits.
Fiction buff and writer. If it's on Netflix, it's probably in my queue. I've bought DVDs for the special features and usually claim that the book is better than the movie or show (and can provide examples). I've never met a TV show that I won't marathon. Follow on Twitter @lah9891 .
