10 Ways Your Favourite TV Shows Will Probably End

9. It'll End With Gene's Story, Not Jimmy's - Better Call Saul

Better Call Saul will just catch-up with Breaking Bad, and that'll be that - right?

The prequel series reaching the point its main character is introduced in its progenitor makes sense, but it also seems far too straightforward for such a complex character study as this.

The spin-off is in many ways the anti-Breaking Bad, and has carved out it's own story that's very much worth the telling. Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman is fascinating, even if we do know the end result.

But Breaking Bad is not the end of this character. As Better Call Saul likes to diverge into on occasion, there's also the future Saul, working at a Cinnabon in Omaha, in hiding.

We know what happens to Jimmy McGill. What we don't know is what happens to 'Gene'. The creators have said they want to spend more time with that character, and there's more story there than just working in a mall.

It seems likely, then, that this story will end there - which makes sense, as it's the end point we don't know. It could link back to Chuck (perhaps Gene tries to track him down), or Kim (there have been hints towards her connection to Omaha, so perhaps a final reunion is on the cards), or perhaps even Jesse (he is free, after all, and Aaron Paul wants to appear on the show).

Whoever is involved, I think that by the end this story will be the focus, thus ending the full timeline, and being Better Call Saul, probably involve some tragedy.
