9. Connor And Cordelia Have Sex - Angel, "Apocalypse, Nowish"
Those of you who didn't immediately cringe on reading that heading likely need a little helping of backstory. Cordelia Chase, former classmate of Buffy Summers - not to mention Queen Bitch of Sunnydale High - moved to L.A. to pursue an acting career but ended up helping out Buffy's old squeeze and noted vampire Angel with his detective agency, Angel investigations. Connor is Angel's son of confusing birth, since both of his parents were vampires and both technically dead. In screen time, Connor should only be about two years old by the fourth season in which this episode takes place, but Connor was kidnapped as a baby and grew up in a hell dimension named Quor'Toth, a place where time moves quicker than on Earth, and returns in the third season at around age 17. So right away the whole situation is kind of ew. What makes it worse is the fact that Angel and Cordelia have an unspoken connection but the latter is under the influence of a powerful demon, and as a result has no problem boning the angst-ridden, newly (almost) adult son of her crush. Oh, and this happens while Angel watches through a window in the building opposite. He's understandably upset, but why on Earth does he linger for so damn long?!
