Leader of a trio of meddlesome, magic-wielding nerds who were generally harmless until things turned a little darker, Warren began life on Buffy as a college kid who happened to create a robot version of his girlfriend. A perfectly realistic one. In other words, a sex bot. He would go on to create robot Buffy, who would play a fairly big role in the series, and then return in season six as the leader of The Trio, which included the popular Jonathan and newcomer Andrew. Warren seemed harmless enough until things got out of hand, and he suddenly turned dark and misogynistic, but he was never very believable as a villain, and his eventual flaying alive by a Willow gone dark, after accidentally killing Tara in an attempt on Buffy's life, was disturbing yet a relief of sorts, as the character had long overstayed his welcome.
