9. The Flash - Atom Smasher Goes Up
WWE Superstar Edge made a memorable impression when he rocked Central City as Atom Smasher in the Season 2 premiere of The Flash, being a convincing threat to the mere mortals around him and even the Scarlet Speedster himself. Unfortunately, when Atom Smasher grew, the good old CGI was called on.
When the transformation took place, the character's limbs ballooned exponentially in a cartoonish fashion, his fingers became long and sharp without any realistic definition and his skin had an incredibly soft and plastic look.
It wasn't all bad because the shots were short and sweet and the Earth-2 villain looked fine (if a little stilted) whenever he had fully grown - and the transitions between CGI Atom Smasher back to Edge were seamless, so that's more than enough reason to go easy on this one. That said, maybe it would have been best if his transformations took place off-screen.
