10 Worst CGI Moments In The Arrowverse

8. Arrow - The Flash Saves The Arrow

In the early days, Arrow was known for its grounded and realistic approach. For that reason, it never needed to rely on CGI all that often because the vast majority of the show wasn't anywhere near as ambitious as it or the Arrowverse would eventually become.

That's why it came as a bit of a shock whenever CGI Flash sped his way into view to save Oliver from a couple of high-speed boomerangs in the first of the annual crossovers.

There was a difference from the typical computer-generated rendering seen on The Flash, as this Scarlet Speedster wasn't quite as shiny as that one. He did, however, possess an awkwardly pointed and - for lack of a better term - hard-looking jaw.

Barry's rescue undoubtedly made for an awesome moment, but the model spinning into the shot over the top of a very real Stephen Amell drew our attention for the wrong reasons - and the slow-motion only highlighted that.
