10 Worst CGI Moments In The Arrowverse

2. The Flash - Firestorm's Journey Into The Wormhole

The Flash's Season 2 premiere may have skipped forward a few months in time, but it did take a moment to pick up exactly where its predecessor left off. Unfortunately, not all of the impressive special effects from its predecessor came with it.

As the Scarlet Speedster tried to close the wormhole, Ronnie Raymond and Professor Stein knew he'd need a nuclear-like blast to help seal it. With that, they re-merged as Firestorm and flew into the hole in the sky. But the shot of the super-powered duo heading into it looked really peculiar.

The Firestorm body (complete with burning hands and hair) looked as epic as ever, but the computer-generated version of Robbie Amell's face looked more like it belonged to a PS2 game. It was also disproportionate to the body and very awkwardly placed onto it.

To say it took away from the epic and poignant moment would be a tad dramatic (not-to-mention a lie), but it was a very strange, jarring sight. Couldn't they have had Amell fly on some wires behind a green screen and CGI'd that in instead?
