5. Dinosaurs - Invasion Of The Dinosaurs (1974)

A good script overshadowed by some dreadful dinosaurs.

The story for this episode revolves around your classic “villain wants to return Earth to an earlier time before us humans ruined it”, throw in a bit of double crossing action and you’ve got yourself a fun episode with the ever looming threat that a T-Rex could be hiding around the corner.

The effects team brought in some specialised outside help with prior experience to create the dinosaur puppets for this episode. Sounds like a recipe for success, but this episode is on this list for a reason.

The puppets were bad, just plain bad, and they were an eye sore in an episode no one remembers for anything but these disgusting dinos. The company which came in to create these puppets unsurprisingly went out of business following the episode.
