10 Worst Friends Episodes

The beauty of having an ensemble cast is that you can run plenty of plots, meaning if your viewers don't enjoy one, they can still get something out of the episode. Unfortunately for this outing, all three storylines fall flat.

In this one, Phoebe's ex-music partner comes back to town, and the two start their friendship again, but clash after she tries to convince Phoebe to sell "Smelly Cat" to a commercial company.

Alongside this, Ross gets jealous of Rachel's work partner (Mark) and feigns interest in a fashion convention to keep them from spending time together. Finally, Chandler starts dating an old girlfriend of Joey's who has a wooden leg. As you can see, there's plenty going on.

The titular A-plot with Phoebe's music partner is fine, but isn't particularly inspired with the humour. Then, both subplots feel awkward as Ross' jealousy is immature and something we'd already seen enough of, and Chandler's dynamic with the wooden-legged Ginger is full of poorly aged disability jokes, body shaming (on both her and Chandler) and a lacklustre conclusion.

It's hard to get three stories wrong, but this one does.
