10 Worst Things Krusty The Clown Has Ever Done

3. He Bet Against The Harlem Globetrotters

Episode: "Homie the Clown" (Season 6, Episode 15)

While this is one of the few acts on this list that isn't harmful against somebody else, it is surely Krusty's most impressively stupid self-own of all time.

After franchising his brand out, Krusty took all his proceeds and placed a bet against the Harlem Globetrotters in their game versus the Washington Generals, who he felt were "due" a win.

The joke, of course, is that in real life the Globetrotters had an epic winning streak against the Generals, and this bet was literally the dumbest, least-sure thing Krusty could've done.

And when the Globetrotters inevitably win, he expresses disbelief, claiming that the Globetrotters were using a ladder to cheat.

There's making bad life choices, spending too much money and over-indulging in vices, and then there's this.
