10 Worst Things Sons Of Anarchy Have Ever Done

7. The Club Wouldn't Allow Black Members

Race played a big part in the Sons of Anarchy, with many of the major gangs of Northern California being separated based on this. Far too many characters referred to others using awful, derogatory terms, the Aryan Brotherhood and the Nords were white supremacists, and the Mayans and the Byz-Lats formed an alliance in no small part because of their shared heritage.

For the most part, the Sons seemed to stay away from this side of things, but not completely. There was an unwritten bylaw, dating back to the club's inception, that the Sons of Anarchy weren't to allow any black men to join.

Though members didn't necessarily agree with the rule under Clay and Jax's Presidency, they still respected a rule that deserved absolutely none. While they looked down on the likes of Darby and AJ Weston for their racist views, they themselves were no better.

It was the fear of his brothers finding out his true lineage that caused Juice to betray the club, and it wasn't until the final episode of the entire series that the rule was abolished to allow T.O into the club. Of course, this wasn't enough to eradicate decades of racism.
