6. Rachel Said Goodbye To Everyone But Ross
As the show built up to the finale of season 10 and the ending of the series entirely, it was always going to heartbreaking. Not only were Monica and Chandler moving out of the city, Rachel was moving all the way to France, well and truly breaking up the group that had been together for so long.
In the penultimate episode of the series, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Joey, and Chandler throw their friend a going away party. Rachel takes each of her best friends aside one by one and says a real, heartfelt goodbye. All except Ross, who gets nothing.
Hurt, Ross confronts Rachel and demands to know why he didn't get a goodbye, thinking she didn't care. Though she does eventually explain that he was left out because it was too hard and that she cared about him more than the others, he would never have known if he hadn't chased after her.
She was actually willing to part ways with Ross for who knows how long without a proper goodbye, leaving him questioning their relationship as she escaped to France.
