10 Worst TV Shows To Launch This Decade

2. Mrs Brown's Boys

Brit comedy's sole horseman of the comedy apocalypse arrived on planet TV in 2011 in the form of this irksome sitcom. Starring Oirish 'comedian' Brendan O'Carroll as the eponymous Mrs Brown, this BBC show follows the tried, tested and now tired format of lairy one-liners and a chirpy live audience.

O'Carroll's creation is a loud, foul-mouthed dud and while vulgar can be funny, his character just comes across as irritating. With the majority of critics running out of bad things to say about it, attention is now being turned to the Beeb for pushing such a low denominator show to the front of its schedule instead of something more cutting edge.

With the demise of BBC Three, and the promise of Mrs Brown and her boisterous family gracing our screens via Christmas Specials right up until 2020, the British public should be slightly concerned about where we're getting our laughs from in the future.
