10 Worst TV Spin-Offs Of All Time

1. Joey

That '80s Show
NBC

Fans of Friends were super excited to hear that Joey was getting his own spin-off show, even though a more obvious choice for a spin-off might have been to see Monica and Chandler raising their children.

When it came along, it was not only disappointing, but it was practically offensive to Friends fans around the world.

Joey living with his sister and teenage nephew? Bit strange and out of character, but okay.

No appearances or mentions of Joeys best friends? Did we miss something?

You'd think that you could at least rely on the writing to be consistent with Friends' sense of (mostly) good natured humour, but apparently, it was not meant to be. There was very little humour of any kind to be found in Joey.

Instead of feeling like a reasonable way to fill the hole that Friends left in our hearts, Joey felt more like a poorly executed Two and Half Men knock off that didn't make any real effort to be funny.

Put plainly, it was an absolute car crash of a TV show.
