10 Worst TV Spin-Offs Of All Time

4. Young Americans

That '80s Show
The WB

Another example of a spin-off inexplicably made for an incredibly small-time character, Young Americans was a Dawson's Creek spin-off about the life of Will Krudski (yes, that was really his name), who you probably won't remember appeared in three episodes of Dawson's Creek.

It lasted for eight episodes, and surprisingly, no-one watched it.

Ian Somerhalder, Kate Bosworth and Charlie Hunnam all appeared, although it could hardly be considered a career highlight for any of them.

Just watching the opening credits is enough to put you off for life, highlighting that Young Americans was intended as nothing more than a cheap alternative to Dawson's Creek.

Ironically, the titular "Young" Americans were all in their twenties while playing teenagers (apart from Bosworth, who was an actual teenager at the time).

So, not only was Young Americans terrible, but it lied to us in its own title.
