11 Annoying Mistakes You Never Noticed In Game Of Thrones
1. Dany's Hair Doesn't Burn But EVERYTHING Else Does
At the culmination of season one Dany stupidly walks into a burning pyre to meet with the ghost of her beloved, and the three dragon eggs she received as a wedding gift. Because of some magic, and some residual dragon blood residing within her, Dany survives and the three dragons hatch. Everything burns.
The wooden pyre is incinerated, Mirri Maz Duur and Khal Drogo are reduced to ashes, and Danys clothing is burned from her skin whilst leaving her miraculously intact. And yet her hair remains unscathed. It isn't burnt or singed or blackened. In fact she still has it styled with a braid arching across. Quite why Dany's hair somehow survives we do not know.
We can only guess that Dany has some incredible unknown power residing within her, one which will manifest devastatingly in the future. That, or Emilia Clarke was unable to be coaxed from her locks.
