3. Dayanara Diaz - Orange Is The New Black

Daya is one of the more interesting characters in Orange is the New Black, yet doesn't appear in as many episodes as the other main characters. She often has to bite her tongue around the difficult presence of her family and tries to keep her relationship with John Bennett - one of the prison guards - a secret. Her story brought about a certain sweetness to the otherwise brutal show, and her relationship with John is nothing short of a forbidden love. All hope hasn't been lost yet however, as there has only been one season so far and two could open up more possibilities for the relevance of her character. However, it would have been nice to have seen more of her in season one.
