The four ninja fighters with Daredevil's origin story have a love of the simple life eating pizza in the sewers, but every so often are obligated to fight for justice. Many familiar characters from the early comics and earlier animated series make their appearances. There's no particular hook or angle that sets this newer series apart, except for the undefinable notion of "quality," but that's plenty. Last year, this animated series was nominated for both an Emmy and a British Children's Award, and it has scored positive reviews from such diverse sources as IGN and Variety. Anticipation Level: Strong, for the reasons given above.
