9 Game Of Thrones Actors Who Were Also In Harry Potter

9. Ciaran Hinds

Hinds is now recognised as the King-Beyond-The-Wall, Mance Rayder, the man who leads his wildling army into battle with Jon Snow and the Night's Watch, but what was he doing before he became the leader of the free-folk? He was Aberforth Dumbledore, the oft-overlooked brother of the wizarding genius that was Albus.

The character first appeared in a cameo in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, played by Jim McManus, but Hinds took on the role for Death Hallows Part 2, helping Harry find a way into Hogwarts - and a number of other students find a way out - before entering the castle and joining the battle himself.

Both characters were slight outcasts, but also showed a sense of bravery and nobility when it was required. These roles aren't the only time he's played someone who is either a King or magical, as he actually combined the two to play Pabbie, the Troll King in Frozen. Hinds, however, requires no fixing-up.
