These are the Doctor Who fans who are seemingly incapable of ever looking on the bright side of things, and you're guaranteed to have come across at least one of these negative nelly's at least once in the last hour. At least. To elaborate, while the aforementioned optimistic obsessee will always see the glass half full, this type of 'fan' will always see the glass completely empty. There are varying levels of negativity within this, of course. Some will be able to satisfy their inner pessimism by sending out a few angry tweets now and then (aimed at who, exactly?), while others have completely lost their grip on reality and liken the news that Steven Moffat will be returning for Series 10 to the end of the world itself.
