11 TV Shows That Just Got Cancelled

9. Stumptown

Supergirl The CW
ABC

As evidenced by her work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Cobie Smulders has one heck of a formidable screen presence. That translated really well into her new TV series Stumptown, which premiered on ABC last season and gave her what could very well be the best character she's every played (and, yes, this writer is very well aware that she's also Maria Hill and Aunt Robin).

The crime drama wasn't a massive ratings hit but it did go over very well with the critics and that was enough to ensure it was renewed for a second season in May. Unfortunately, ABC reversed the decision last month when it was ultimately cancelled as a result of all the delays that the production was facing, making it one of the first publicised TV casualties of the ongoing global situation.

Hope is not entirely lost for the series as production company ABC signature is attempting to shop it to another network or streaming platform.
