11 TV Shows That Just Got Cancelled

10. The Big Show Show

Supergirl The CW
Netflix

Taking all of what we just discussed about the multi-camera sitcom format into account, it's hard to call the cancellation of The Big Show Show a surprise, but it still did feel like the Netflix show could have weathered that sitcom storm.

Be it the novelty of a network TV sitcom on Netflix (though they are becoming more of a regular thing) or the fact that it starred WWE's Big Show in the titular role, The Big Show Show had potential to stand out in a market bogged down with a lack of originality.

Whether or not originality is what the series ended up producing remains up for debate, but there was some promise there - thanks in no small part to the fact that the World's Largest Athlete has always been a reliably comedic performer.

Oh well, at least it'll give us a Christmas special before it bows out.
