11 TV Shows That Just Got Renewed

We shouldn't expect anything less than a dramatic experience from Gotham's Princess of Plunder so the lengthy wait for Harley Quinn's renewal announcement seemed fitting. That didn't, however, make it any less unnerving.

Arguably one of the best animated TV shows of this generation, the DC Universe original was an instant hit as its adult humor and surprisingly well-told narratives went over incredibly well with fans and critics and it ultimately went a long way in proving why Harley continues to be such an alluring character.

The problem with the show, however, was that it was stuck in the middle of the DC streamer's evolution while also boasting a will they/won't they relationship with fellow Warner streamer HBO Max. Furthermore, the fact that the second season tied up one of its overarching plot threads made it seem like we were right to be concerned about whether or not the show would return.

Thankfully, once the budget was sorted and the future of the DC Universe was made public, Harley got her well-earned renewal and that undoubtedly put all of our minds at rest as we now know that Harley's hilarious holiday will now continue on HBO Max.
