11 TV Shows That Just Got Renewed

The Boys is, without question, one of the most unorthodox comic book shows on television. No, scratch that: It's one the most unorthodox of all shows on television. And clearly, it has gone over incredibly well with fans.

The show doesn't hold back when it comes to violence, mature content and just simply being in-your-face, and even though that likely makes it an acquired taste, the fact that it became one of Amazon Prime's most-watched original shows following its first season highlights that a lot of people, well, acquired that taste.

That it got renewed for a second season wasn't all that surprising considering the success its first offering experienced; what was somewhat surprising, however, was the fact that it was renewed for a third season ahead of the launch of the second. And to top it all off, Amazon have now fast-tracked the development of a spinoff as well.

Get used to The Boys, because the beloved adaptation of the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson graphic novel ain't going anywhere - except back on screens when Season 3 arrives, that is!
