12 April 2017 TV Shows To Watch Instead Of Game Of Thrones
6. Doctor Who - Series 10

Given it's been running for over 50 years now, Doctor Who needs little introduction. But Doctor Who Series 10 is going to be a big one for the show.
After seven years in charge, Steven Moffat will be stepping down from his role as showrunner at the end of 2017, making this his sixth and final full series on the show. Following him out of the TARDIS door is Peter Capaldi, who is making this is third and last series. There's also a new companion, Bill, played by newcomer Pearl Mackie, who'll be the show's first openly gay companion, and looks to be offering a much more comedic take on the usual travelling partner.
Moffat and Capaldi will both be looking to go out an a high in Series 10 (and the Christmas Special) before handing the reigns over to Chris Chibnall. Series 9 was a great return to form, so they'll look to build on that, and have plenty of monsters new and old (including 'Emojibots', Mondasian Cybermen, and Michelle Gomez's Missy).
Premiere Date: April 15
