12 Awesome Robots From TV History

10. Robot B-9 - Lost in Space

Easily my favorite show as a kid, I loved this robot. His iconic "Danger, Will Robinson" is a phrase still much in use today. B-9 is another successful robot actor, having appeared in a modified costume in the Mystery Island segment of The Skatebirds television show in 1977.

9. Data and Lore in Star Trek TNG

Data is the epitome of what androids should be - smart, fast, strong, loyal, and with a Pinocchio complex. Data is the perfect Starfleet officer. Unfortunately, his twin "brother" Lore is not so nice - an interesting take on the whole "evil twin" story line. Infused with emotions in an attempt to improve upon the Data design, Lore quickly turns evil. I guess Roddenberry thought humans might just be inherently evil, eh?
