12. Don't Stop Me Now (Mummy On The Orient Express)
What better way to kick start this countdown of 2014's most memorable Doctor Who moments than with a sing song? It is New Year's after all. In this scene from Mummy on the Orient Express (and the only moment from said episode to have made it on to this list, though it's nothing personal), up and coming singer songwriter Foxes made a brief cameo appearance as she lent her unique voice to a 1920s inspired cover of Queen's Don't Stop Me Now. The story behind her role is quite something, too. She had been performing at a BBC Showcase event at which producers spotted her and offered her a guest stint in the show. The rest, as they say, is history. Her performance proved to go down extremely well with viewers, so much so that the BBC released a music video of the uncut version featuring a montage of clips from this year's series. You should listen to the full thing if you haven't. It actually makes for a good musical backdrop as you make your way through the rest of this list. After all, the Doctor really has been having a ball...
