12 Brilliant Ways TV Characters Were Brought Back From The Dead

3. John Sheridan €“ Babylon 5

€œIf you go to Z'Hadum, you will die€. Ever since Kosh spoke those fateful words in season two of Babylon 5, we knew that Captain John Sheridan would make his way to the home world of the Shadows one way or another. The return of his long-dead wife Anna in the season three finale was certainly a knife in John's developing relationship with Delenn and gave him the motive to venture to the home world of his greatest enemy. John's death at the end of season three (crashing the White Star into the shadow city, nuking his enemy and jumping into the abyss) was a pivotal moment in the show. The Shadow war took a breather, allowing the Vorlons to unleash their armada and a resurrected Sheridan and Ivanova the chance to bring the last of the old ones and the alien races into one final battle that would determine the fate of the galaxy forever. Of course no resurrection is without its consequences. Lorien was able to revive Sheridan in order to allow him to end the war, but the price wass just twenty more years of life; Sheridan was able to fulfil his destiny in becoming president of the Interstellar Alliance but his time with Delenn was cut short, leading to his final journey in the epic and emotionally wrought series finale 'Sleeping In Light'.

I wrote two plays for the Greater Manchester Horror Fringe in 2013, the first an adaption of Simon Clark's 'Swallowing A Dirty Seed' and my own original sci-fi horror play 'Centurion', which had an 8/10* review from Starburst magazine! (http://www.starburstmagazine.com/reviews/eventsupcoming-genre-events/6960-event-review-centurion) I also wrote an episode for online comedy series Supermarket Matters in 2012. I aim to achieve my goal for writing for television (and get my novels published) but in the meantime I'll continue to write about those TV shows I love!
