12 Darkest Star Trek: Voyager Moments Ever

8. Attacking And Stealing From Others To Survive - The Void

In The Void, Voyager enters a void in which all ships are forced to attack and loot each other to survive. As soon as they enter they are attacked and have supplies stolen from them. It's a survival of the fittest scenario, where the bigger ships with more supplies are able to attack and steal more easily. It's not long before the crew of Voyager realise they cannot survive without taking supplies they need from other ships.

So begins a test of Janeway's principles and intelligence, as she has to figure out how she can keep her crew alive while not attacking and looting others. The darkest moment comes when Janeway realises she may have to leave her principles aside while in the void to ensure her crew's survival. The void brings out the worst in those who enter it, as they must do everything they can to survive.

It's a kill or be killed situation, as no ship is safe and once your supplies are gone, your chance of survival goes with it.

A recently created Star Trek fan with a special affinity for the adventures of Voyager and its crew. I enjoy the occasional horror movie and love anything 80s to the point where I've been told I was an 80s child reborn. I'm a true blue Aussie and proud of it.
