3. Ghost

Last Seen: Being left at Winterfell when Jon heads to Dragonstone, though it happens off-screen. The direwolf's actual last appearance was returning to the Stark home after the Battle Of The Bastards.

Thanks to budgetary concerns, Ghost was largely cut out of the last few seasons of Thrones, despite how useful he would be in the battles to come (though Jon probably rightly doesn't want him to be infected and to have a zombie direwolf messing things up for the heroes).

Still, given the fact that he's Jon's supposed best mate and closest companion, it's a travesty. Nymeria is off the grid too at the minute, but she at least has a reason.

Could He Return?

Let's hope so - there's no way we can see a resolution to Jon's story without the show also tying up Ghost's story. So we can expect at least one appearance - presumably with the direwolf moving as little as possible to preserve effects costs.
