10. Sisko Decides To Punch Q
You remember Q, right? He’s the immortal, omnipotent, omnipresent, trickster. He plagued both Captains Picard and Janeway. Sure, Starfleet is all about discovering new lifeforms, but Q is not the kind of lifeform you want hanging around. He’s prone to things like instigating Borg attacks and altering the timeline.
That’s why Benjamin Sisko may have found the best way to deal with this non-corporeal bully. He punched him. Like, right in the face. It was brilliant.
A little backstory, Q showed up on DS9 in pursuit of a woman. When Sisko discovered him he demanded that Q leave. In a very ‘Q’ move the alien transformed Quark's Bar into a boxing ring and challenged Sisko to a fight.
And Sisko rocked Q right in the jaw. That was the last time anyone saw Q aboard Deep Space Nine. That single punch saved Sisko and crew a hell of a lot of trouble.
