1. Friends
OK, so this one is kind of cheating, but Doctor Who isn't on our screens at the moment and it's making us go a little bit mad, OK?! NBC's hit show Friends defined a generation as one of the most successful sitcoms in TV history but unfortunately its connections to Doctor Who are practically non-existent (because not every single other show on TV has to be linked to the ongoing escapades of our favourite Time Lord after all... who knew?!). Yep, Friends is probably the only show which didn't feature a Doctor Who related guest star. At least, not psychically, anyway. If you look very carefully in one scene, though, Alex Kingston comes through once again by proving that she'll be there for you... as the cover star of a magazine that Rachel is reading in Central Perk. So there you go. What did you think of this list? Are there any other hit US shows starring Doctor Who actors that should've been included? Let us know in the comments section below!
