12 Things That Make No Sense In BoJack Horseman

11. The D In Hollywoo

BoJack Horseman
Netflix

The largest and one of the first permanent changes Bojack created in his world occurred when he was so drunk off of Absinthe that he stole the d from the Hollywood sign to give it to Diane. Instead, he just rebrands the entire town into fabulous Hollywoo for the rest of the series.

Mr. Peanutbutter then stole the large sheet of metal and gave it to Diane, taking all the credit too. It was then helicoptered back, but before it made it back to its hilltop spot, a barrage of fireworks shot the helicopter down right into the L.A. prison, most likely killing the pilot. But despite the probable ease to just put the letter back, or even just make a new one, the sign is never fixed.

While the real-life reason most likely was to avoid having any copyright issues with making jokes about Hollywood, in the world of Bojack Horseman it just comes off as the laziest a city has ever been in fixing a beloved landmark.
