12 TV Reboots You Didn't Know Were Coming

If you were born between roughly 1990-1995, you might have fond memories of Lizzie McGuire. The high school drama was way less dramatic than most before or since, and instead told a fairly down to Earth story, aided by occasional animation.

Lizzie was both cool and a loser, and so seemed to appeal to a lot of people. So much so that Disney greenlit a theatrical release for her movie, something only their biggest hits get. Being in the company of Hannah Montana may not seem like much, but at Disney it’s a big deal.

Hilary Duff went on to have a pretty serviceable career as a pop star, along with starring in Disney features like A Cinderella Story and Cadet Kelly, where she essentially played versions of Lizzie.

There doesn’t seem to be high demand for more Lizzie McGuire, but the fact it sees Duff returning as Lizzie in her 30s is more enticing than a school age recasting.
