12 TV Shows That Were Cancelled Way Too Soon

The title was aimed at capturing the minds of a social-media obsessed generation, and this sitcom was a modern take on the story of Pygmalion. Instead of upgrading her social status, this show€™s Eliza wanted to be €˜Insta-famous€™, but when she started to get some online hate hires marketing expert Henry to give her an image makeover.

The name and the premise both risked coming off as a little cringey, a desperate attempt to cash in on something that would be quickly outdated, but with Karen Gillan and John Cho in the lead roles there was room for this to develop into something more about the characters.

However, it was cancelled after just seven episodes had aired, with the remaining six being shown on streaming service Hulu. With time the show could have developed into a genuinely pretty good sitcom, and when you consider how many poor shows get such a long run (looking at you, Chuck Lorre) it€™s a shame they didn€™t take a chance on this one.
