12 TV Shows That Were Cancelled Way Too Soon

12. Veronica Mars

Long before she wanted to build a snowman, Kristen Bell was best-known as Veronica Mars, the former popular girl at school who balanced her studies with some extracurricular crime-solving.

It was praised for its portrayal of the darker side of school, not shying away from just how brutal life can be in high-school, as well as investigations concerning murder and rape.

It ran for three seasons and had established a cult following, if not a huge audience, before it was cancelled by The CW. The fans tried all manner of methods to stop the show from being cancelled, with the best being that they sent a box containing 10,000 Mars bars to The CW executives, albeit to no avail.

It did eventually get to continue its life in the form of a movie, thanks to crowdfunding website Kickstarter. It€™s $2m goal was met in just 10 hours as it went on to break a number of Kickstarter records, with the movie eventually being released in 2014 to reasonably positive reviews.
