8. Party Of Five

Sony Pictures Television

Between 1994 and 2000, Party of Five dominated the airwaves for Fox. The series' ensemble cast included Scott Wolf, Matthew Fox, Neve Campbell, and Lacey Chabert, all of whom were left to raise their younger brother, and themselves after their parents were killed in a car accident.

Most fans would agree that the series was canceled prematurely, and while a spinoff called Time of Your Life failed to last more than a single season, there are plans to bring Party of Five back to TV. Unlike many on this list, the Party of Five series coming to TV won't be a revival; rather, it will be a reboot.

The pilot episode was ordered back in January 2018, and it's going to follow a similar format as the original. It will revolve around five children, who are left to raise themselves after their parents are deported to Mexico. The cast will include Brandon Larracuente, Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado, and Elle Paris Legaspi.

The pilot episode has been filmed, and you can catch a sneak peek at some of the footage here. Party of Five will premiere on January 8, 2020, on Freeform.
