9. Iron Fist

After racking up an impressive winning streak of home runs both on Netflix and in cinemas, the Marvel Cinematic Universe finally hit its first roadblock with the immensely disappointing Iron Fist.

With an overabundance of boring subplots, a mediocre lead performance from Finn Jones, horribly-directed action sequences and a distinct lack of punching, the gulf of quality between this and The Defenders' other TV shows is simply staggering.

At least Jessica Henwick's Colleen Wing was great and David Wenham did a fine job chewing the scenery as the villainous Harold Meachum. Overall, though, it felt cheap, lazy and, worst of all, utterly boring.

Don't be surprised if a second season never happens and Iron Fist instead remains an ensemble fixture in The Defenders.
