It's sad to say that How I Met Your Mother scene stealer Abby Elliot still hasn't gotten her small screen breakout role yet, but the actor can do better than samey sitcom Indebted.
Then again, so can everyone involved in this flat “parents moving in with their kids” flop.
Even talented sitcom staples like Happy Endings' cast standout Adam Pally and The Nanny's heroine/ unforgettable voice Fran Drescher couldn’t save this one from falling on its face, as the tonally uneven writing of the series relied on cliches and stock characters from the pilot through its entire stiff and unconvincing debut season.
