Pre Vizsla begins his run on the show as the governor of Mandalore's moon, Concordia, and is soon revealed to be the leader of the Death Watch, out to reclaim his planet's warrior heritage. His deceptive nature and fighting prowess quickly makes him a dangerous foe, able to go toe-to-toe with both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Maul while in possession of the darksaber.

Brought to life with the menacing voice of Jon Favreau, who would go on to create The Mandalorian, Vizsla is a remarkably strong warrior and leader. His perseverance gives him one of the show's longest arcs, and watching him scheme his way to power is great to watch.

Of course, his power goes to his head and he crosses blades with Maul, but until his death his appearance in an episode always promised some big changes to the trajectory of the show.
