For those still mourning the regeneration of our bow tie wielding Time Lord, it's time to move on and start looking towards the future. Peter Capaldi is here to stay - for at least one series. The storyline of recent Doctor Who episodes have given some pretty clear indications as to what might be in store for the time-travelling hero while Capaldi is piloting the TARDIS, but the one thing we don't know is just how Capaldi will be playing the Doctor. We're told that Capaldi will be taking the show in a different direction, but what exactly does that mean? It's rumoured that a darker - and supposedly madder - Doctor is on the cards for series 8. It's the logical move after the bouncy, quirky Doctors that were played by Smith and Tennant.
