13 Most Memorable Doctor Who Guest Stars

11. Jenna-Louise Coleman in €˜Asylum of the Daleks€™

Like I was saying, I€™m not counting this performance very high on the list, firstly because this character may turn out to be a little bit more than just a meaningless one shot (we are talking about Moffat here) and secondly because the girl playing her is the new companion. It would be like putting Colin Baker on the list because he was in €˜Arc of Infinity€™. Anyway, in my opinion, €˜Asylum of the Daleks€™ is neck-and-neck with €˜The Angels Take Manhattan€™ for best episode of Series Seven so far, mostly just because of her character €“ Oswin Oswald: Junior Entertainment Manager, Starship Alaska. Current status: crashed and shipwrecked somewhere... not nice. Every little thing she said compelled me to turn to my brother and say €œI€™m in love,€ and can you blame me? She was beautiful, funny, flirtatious, smarter even than the Doctor and with just the right amount of lip without giving us too much €˜Donna Noble€™. Total TARDIS material, despite not noticing that she had an everlasting supply of eggs. And, as Moffat sadistically cast Miss Coleman in the role, we were all convinced that she was going to be disappearing into that blue-box before the credits rolled, completely setting us up for the cruel conclusion, which was both heartbreaking and shockingly cold.

I got bored one day, so I decided to write things on the Internet.
