13 Reasons Why Season 2: 13 Questions We Need Answers To

1. How Will Season 2 Work?

Season 1 started with the death of Hannah and then moved forward through looking back, with each episode roughly following the same formula as Clay listened to the tapes, we saw what happened, and he'd then confront the person involved.

That has to change in Season 2, since there are no more tapes. So while we will still be seeing the past, how is the second season going to be structured? Will we have whole episodes without flashbacks, or whole episodes in the past?

And how will it deal with its themes, which are at once more removed - by time and plot - and yet going to be brought into focus with the lawsuit? It received (fair) criticism from a number of groups over its handling of suicide, so will it make some moves to address those concerns?

Finally, there's the notion of whether a second season will really work at all, in terms of making a successful TV show. They've already stretched out the source material, and are now firmly off-page, so it's not fully clear where they'll go from here.

What questions do you need answering in Season 2? Let us know down in the comments.
