Let's take a moment to talk about the show's leading man, shall we? Dylan Minnette has been painstakingly bringing every facet of the troubled Clay Jensen to life for three years, but he has never been better than he is here.

With Clay's declining mental health - and his inability to control the things that happen around him influencing that - the young actor had a real opportunity to deliver some quality material and he took it. No, he didn't just take it; he grabbed hold of it, ran with it and absolutely knocked it out of the park.

Everything Clay feels, we feel, and that is down to the masterclass of a performance than Minnette delivers. He's nothing short of enthralling the whole way throughout.
